The China Children's Culture and Art Promotion Association was established on October 26, 1993. It is a national first-level association approved by the Ministry of Culture and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

These cultural and artistic activities that are beneficial to children's physical and mental health are welcomed by children and have received strong support from all walks of life and have won widespread praise from friends at home and abroad.

The establishment of China Children's Network, the construction of Dandelion (Jinhua) International Art Kindergarten, Dandelion (Dalian) International Art Kindergarten, and the youth activity bases in the Chinese Children's Cultural Education Science and Technology Park (in Changsha City) and Hangzhou Oriental Culture Park under construction are all children's activities.

Developed jointly by the Children's Promotion Association and entrepreneurs who are interested in contributing to children's culture and art, it is a new measure for the Children's Promotion Association to introduce social forces to do practical things for children.

Based on hard work, the Children's Promotion Association takes healthy and upward literary and artistic connotations as its root and integrity as its soul, and strives to create "Dandelion", a cultural brand that serves young people.

Through hard work, various activities named after "Dandelion" have established a good image in the minds of young people, with high trust and prestige.

The Children's Promotion Association also cares about the literary and artistic life of young people in disadvantaged groups, holding the "One Hope" literary evening to build a platform for young people from different groups to communicate and share artistic achievements; it also supports the established Dandelion Rural Children's Cultural Park

; and successfully held large-scale public welfare activities such as the "Flag of Peace" World Children's Peace Flag Painting Exhibition for four consecutive years.

More than 30,000 peace flags were received from children from more than 50 countries and children of all ethnic groups in China.
