Hefei University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Anhui Provincial Government have established universities, and the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau and the Ministry of Education have established universities.
