While promoting scientific research, the institute also comprehensively integrates disciplines and promotes the output of major achievements. Over the past 50 years, it has undertaken more than 3,000 national and local scientific research projects such as "973", "863", national key scientific research projects and key funds. It won 3 special prizes for national scientific and technological progress, 3 first prizes for national scientific and technological progress, 1 first prize for national natural science 1, 2 second prizes for national natural science, scientific and technological progress and technological invention 18, 4 provincial and ministerial special prizes, 38 first prizes and more than 90 second prizes.
