Recently, a series of publicity activities on TB prevention and control in the provincial capital, sponsored by Shanxi Provincial Health Department, undertaken by Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Taiyuan Municipal Health Bureau, were held grandly in Mining Machine Community Square. In order to further popularize TB prevention and control policies and knowledge, enhance people's awareness of self-care, mobilize the whole society to pay attention to TB and care for TB patients, and actively participate in TB publicity and prevention, according to the unified deployment of the Ministry of Health, Shanxi Province launched this publicity campaign around the theme of "You and I * * * participate together to eliminate the harm of TB". At the publicity site, banners 12 were hung, 20 TB prevention knowledge exhibition boards were posted, more than 8,000 leaflets were distributed, more than 2,000 posters 1000 were posted, more than 2,000 publicity cards were distributed, 30 publicity motorcades were dispatched, more than 300 volunteers were recruited, and on-site free clinic consultation activities were also carried out.

In recent years, Shanxi Province has successively implemented "China Tuberculosis Control-Japanese Aid Project" and "China Tuberculosis Control-Global Fund Project" and other projects, and achieved good results. Tuberculosis cases1920,000 cases were found and treated in the whole province, and more than 700,000 healthy people were prevented from being infected with tuberculosis.
