First, the "relationship" organization in Yuanling University is too chaotic. Take No.1 Middle School for example. Although there are abundant teachers, it is self-evident that there are several real "teachers".
Second, in compulsory education, there are some hidden diseases, and school charges happen from time to time. Although it is nine-year compulsory education, many students not only fail to enjoy the benefits they should have enjoyed, but also increase their own financial burden. This situation is already obvious in urban and rural areas, especially for primary school students. Teachers always make special demands on what kind of pens to buy, what kind of magazines to order and what kind of counseling books to buy. Moreover, it must be bought from the teacher's hand, or it must be bought in that store. Primary and secondary school students are still in awe of the teacher. They take the teacher's words as god's will, buy them wherever the teacher tells them to, and pay whatever the teacher says. Even if there are cheaper ones outside, or parents deliberately object, these are beyond doubt for those children who can't tell right from wrong.
third, there is a huge gap between local per capita income and consumption. It is no exaggeration to say that it is huge. The consumption of Yuanling has the same trend as that of Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Clothes, daily necessities, etc. are more expensive than those sold in cities, not to mention the house prices in Yuanling. In fact, these things are well known to everyone, which invisibly leads to the high consumption and low income of residents, especially rural people. For them, even a penny is earned by themselves, and everything needs money, which puts great pressure on them. Although it is urgent for children to go to school, it is more important for them to make money than these. As a result, rural children are still working during the holidays, and their academic performance is certainly not good. In order to subsidize their families, many children drop out of school to farm at home or work in the south. This is also the reason why the enrollment rate in rural areas is not high.
fourth: dereliction of duty of local leaders. Many leaders are really indifferent to the school's unreasonable charges and the low enrollment rate. They only focus on the key points, give non-stop speeches and encourage students, and ignore or even ignore the bad ones. This also explains why only one or two schools have a high enrollment rate, while other schools really let students squander their parents' money unscrupulously, and don't pay much attention to students who go clubbing, drinking and smoking.
this is just my opinion.
In fact, I still hope that the government will pay close attention to school study and strive to build Yuanling into a better place!
