Citizens enjoy the right to life and health, and no unit or individual may infringe upon the citizen's right to life and health (except for legitimate defense, court executions, and the people's police of public security organs who adopt uniforms, use police equipment and weapons, and forcibly remove people in accordance with the law). As administrative law enforcement personnel, urban management officers must act in accordance with the law when performing their duties, enforce the law in a civilized manner, and must not beat or scold others. If you cause more than minor injuries due to beating others, you must bear criminal responsibility in accordance with the law; if it does not constitute a crime, you must be punished by public security.

According to Article 234 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China Whoever intentionally injures the body of others shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance.

Article 43
Assault Anyone who commits crimes against others, or intentionally harms the body of others, shall be detained for not less than 5 days but not more than 10 days, and shall be fined not less than 200 yuan but not more than 500 yuan. If the offense is lighter, he shall be detained for not more than 5 days or fined not more than 500 yuan. Anyone who commits any of the following circumstances shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days, and shall be fined not less than 500 yuan but not more than 1,000 yuan:
(1) Grouping to beat or injure others
( 2) Beating or injuring people with disabilities, pregnant women, people under 14 years of age or people over 60 years old
(3) Beating or injuring others multiple times or beating or injuring multiple people at one time.

Article 234
Whoever intentionally harms the body of others shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years , detention or control. Anyone who commits the crime in the preceding paragraph and causes serious injury to another person shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years. If the person dies or causes serious injury and severe disability by particularly cruel means, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than ten years and not more than ten years, or life imprisonment or death. If this law provides otherwise, the provisions shall prevail.
