(1) Those who have passed the qualification examinations of "Basic Knowledge of Securities Market" and "Securities Investment Fund" for securities practitioners shall apply for registration by their institutions, and those who meet the requirements may obtain the qualification certificate for securities practitioners in China. (2) Those who have passed the examination for fund sales personnel, that is, the subject of "Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Fund Sales", can directly obtain the examination certificate for fund sales personnel.
Fund sales personnel shall meet the following qualifications: (1) All fund sales personnel of a fund management company shall obtain the practicing certificate of China securities industry as stipulated in Item (1) of Article 4; (2) Personnel engaged in fund sales business management in the headquarters and business outlets of securities companies, head offices and first-tier branches of commercial banks, professional fund sales institutions and securities investment consulting headquarters and business outlets shall obtain the practicing certificate of China securities industry as stipulated in Item (1) of Article 4; (3) Personnel engaged in fund promotion, fund financial consulting and other activities at the headquarters and business outlets of securities companies, the head offices of commercial banks, branches and business outlets at all levels, professional fund sales institutions, and the headquarters and business outlets of securities investment consulting institutions shall obtain a certificate of passing the examination for fund sales personnel. The personnel in Item (3) of the preceding paragraph who have obtained the practicing certificate of securities industry in China may be exempted from the examination for fund sales personnel.
