how much do you know about soybean milk? Dong Shi Foundation Releases "1 Kinds of Soybean Milk Survey"

In view of the importance of soybean milk in Chinese people's daily diet, the Food and Nutrition Center of Dong Shi Foundation released a "1 Kinds of Soybean Milk Survey" report today. From November to December, 17, the survey examined the nutritional components of 115 pieces of bean drinks (15 pieces of liquid soybean milk/soybean milk and 1 pieces of soybean milk powder) on the domestic market. The results showed that:

● For the liquid soybean milk with the highest sugar content, the sugar added in each bottle was more than 23 grams, and drinking two bottles would soon exceed the daily sugar intake limit! (According to the recommendation of the National Health Department, adults are advised to take less than 5 grams of sugar per day.) The sugar content ranking of the products in this survey is shown in Table 1. Table 1: The ranking of sugar content of soybean drinks in this survey. (Chart/provided by Dong Shi Foundation)

● According to the food and drug administration's "Matters to be observed in nutrition declaration of packaged food", "micro-sugar" is defined as sugar should be less than 2.5 grams/1ml. However, the Food and Drug Administration said that "slightly sweet" belongs to consumers' personal taste and does not need to meet the standard definition of "slightly sweet" less than 2.5 g/1ml, which obviously misled consumers. Dong Shi criticized the competent authorities for driving backwards.
