Introduction to Wu Rui Scholarship
The Wu Rui Scholarship, known as the highest award for Chinese biology doctoral students, was established in 2009. The "Wu Rui Scholarship" aims to encourage doctoral students to strive to shape themselves into future academic leaders in the field of life sciences. It also commemorates Professor Wu Rui's achievements in the field of life sciences.

Outstanding contributions to cultivating a new generation of biologists in China.

As of 2012, thirty-eight doctoral students have received the "Wu Rui Scholarship".

Prizes and prizes: including US$3,000 in prize money, commemorative medals, certificates and promotion from the Wu Rui Memorial Foundation.

Winners can apply for travel funding of less than US$5,000 to attend international conferences or advanced courses.

The Wu Rui Scholarship will build a communication bridge between the recipients and today's scientists.

We award more than ten Wu Rui Awards every year.

Evaluation criteria: The Wu Rui Foundation evaluates excellence based on each candidate's innovation ability, independent thinking ability and research contribution in life science research.

Eligibility to participate in the assessment: Candidates must be graduate students pursuing a doctoral degree in schools or research institutions in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Singapore.

Moreover, candidates must have obtained doctoral candidate status.
