Beijing Western Sunshine Rural Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "Western Sunshine Foundation") is a private foundation registered in the civil affairs department on May 26th, 2006. The Foundation is mainly committed to rural education and community development in western China, focusing on helping teachers, students and vulnerable groups in rural areas, providing them with opportunities for self-change and enabling rural areas to enter independent, benign and all-round development. Mainly carried out: western rural education forum, college student volunteer holiday teaching, long-term volunteer teaching, rural early childhood education exploration, rural teachers' directional training and support, all kinds of library construction and reading promotion, poor students and teachers' funding, small infrastructure construction, rural school education quality improvement comprehensive project, etc. 1998-2002, a young man made a systematic investigation on rural education in the east and west by bike and on foot. He traveled to 22 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for 9 days, took more than 1 10,000 photos and wrote hundreds of thousands of words of investigation reports, which truly recorded the face of rural education in western China. This young man is Mr. Shang Lifu.

At the end of 2003, with the support of teacher Yang Dongping, the Rural Education Development Research Center of 2 1 Century Education Development Research Institute (namely "Western Sunshine Action") was established;

In July, 2004, the "Western Sunshine Action" teaching service team was officially launched. Ten teams of 135 volunteers from capital universities went to ten provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the west for volunteer service.

On May 23, 2006, Shanghai Xinliankang Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. invested 2 million yuan to set up the Beijing Western Sunshine Rural Development Foundation. The "Western Sunshine Action" developed from the initial grassroots NGO to a non-public fundraising foundation specializing in western rural education, realizing a historic change.

With the support of many caring people and caring enterprises, Beijing Western Sunshine Village Foundation has demonstrated our ideas and values and made our brand and characteristics through tangible service actions.

We will, as always, make contributions to rural education and community development in western China.
