I graduated from Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) in 1982. In 1984, he studied for a master's degree in pharmacokinetics in China Pharmaceutical University. After graduation in 1987, he stayed on as a teacher, served as a lecturer, associate professor and professor, and was the director of the Pharmacokinetics Research Center. In 1995, he studied for a doctorate in pharmacology, focusing on neuropharmacology and pharmacokinetics. In 1999, he received a doctorate. From October 23 to October 24, he went to the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom for further study and visited, and returned to China in October 24. He is still engaged in the teaching and research of pharmacokinetics. Published more than 5 academic papers in academic journals at home and abroad, including 2 papers included in SCI. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of national key topics such as the national "863" project and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, he is an expert in drug evaluation in National Medical Products Administration and Jiangsu Province, director of Mathematical Pharmacology Society of Chinese Pharmacology Society, vice president of School of Pharmacy of China Pharmaceutical University, director of Pharmacokinetics Research Center, deputy director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Pharmacokinetics, and editor of Asian Pharmacokinetics Journal. Training object of trans-century provincial academic leaders of Jiangsu Blue Project. And the training object of "333 Project" in Jiangsu Province (the second level), the leader of outstanding scientific and technological innovation team in Jiangsu universities.

9 doctoral graduates and more than 2 master graduates have been trained, of which 1 doctoral and master graduate has obtained excellent doctoral and master thesis in Jiangsu Province respectively.

main research directions and fund support: pharmacokinetics of traditional Chinese medicine, blood-brain barrier and drug transport (changes of drug transporters and metabolic enzymes in disease state and their physiological and pathological significance), drug interaction and pharmacokinetics of innovative drugs. He has presided over three national natural science foundation projects, published more than 8 academic papers, including 6 SCI papers, and won one first prize for scientific and technological progress in Jiangsu Province (ranked second) and one second prize for national scientific and technological progress (ranked second).
