A disability certificate is actually a proof of identity, just like an ID card. It only proves that you are a disabled person.

If it is a local disability certificate, for Levels 1 to 4, you can apply for subsistence allowance. Disabled persons can enjoy free admission in urban parks with the "People's Republic of China Disability Certificate", but it is not free in some special scenic spots in the suburbs.

Other discounts are as follows: Priority in purchasing tickets and riding on trains and planes; free travel on city buses and buses; and free carrying of necessary assistive devices.

Special vehicles for the disabled can be parked nearby for free; reading materials for the blind can be delivered free of charge; disabled people are given priority in registration and treatment when seeking medical treatment, and blind people, persons with both lower limbs and multiple disabilities are exempt from registration fees; disabled people can enter museums, memorial halls, science and technology for free

Museums (palaces) and other places; use of paid public toilets is free; cinemas, stadiums (venues) provide half-price discounts.
