1. Agreement on Sponsoring Studying Abroad

1 Requirements for signing and notarization of the Agreement

For the convenience of overseas students, Party A has signed and sealed the Agreement. When signing and notarizing the Agreement, the overseas students themselves should bring two guarantors (the first guarantor of Party C and the second guarantor of Party C) to the scene at the same time, and fill in the underlined part of the Agreement (that is, _ _ _ _ _) in front of the notary, without any omission or mistake.

2 Place for Notarization of the Agreement

(2) Overseas students from outside Beijing should sign contracts and notarize at local provincial and municipal notary offices. All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, the Department of Education (Education Commission) and the Department of Personnel, the institutions receiving applications for studying abroad funded by the National Study Fund, should give necessary guidance and consultation.

3 methods of guarantee

The guarantee of the Agreement shall be implemented in accordance with the Notice on the Guarantee of the Agreement on Sponsoring Studying Abroad issued by the Ministry of Justice to local notary offices in September 1997. At present, the guarantee method for overseas students generally chooses joint and several liability guarantee.

4 Conditions of Guarantor

The Guarantor of Party C mentioned in the Agreement on Aid for Studying Abroad must be two persons. The guarantor of Party C shall meet the following conditions:

(1) A citizen aged 18 to 55 with full capacity for civil conduct;

(2) It has the ability to pay off debts on behalf of others;

(3) The property as the basis of the guarantee must be the property that the guarantor can dispose of according to law.
