The hospital was founded in June of 1945, and became the South Hospital of the Sixth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University in June of 10 and February of 20/kloc-0. 20 12 12 passed the evaluation of the tertiary hospital of Shanghai Hospital Comprehensive Evaluation (Evaluation) Center.

2012 June 5438+00 moved to No.6600 Nanfeng Highway, Nanqiao New Town Center, covering an area of 182 mu, with a construction area of 96,000 square meters.

It has successively become the teaching hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University and Suzhou University Medical College, the affiliated hospital of Southern Medical University and Anhui University of Science and Technology (not directly affiliated), and the clinical medical college of Anhui University of Science and Technology.
