On Qiao Shan Mountain, No.0/79, Dongguan, huangling county, Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province, Qiaoshan Mountain, where the Mausoleum of Huangdi is located, is located about one kilometer north of Huangling County, Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province, and is the eastward extension of Ziwuling. Ziwuling runs from north to south, with children in the north and noon in the south, so it is called "Ziwuling". Qiaoshan Mountain, with a total area of 566.7 hectares, is magnificent and surrounded by meandering water on three sides.
Huangdi Mausoleum is the mausoleum of Xuanyuan, the ancestor of the Chinese nation. According to legend, the Yellow Emperor ascended to heaven, so the mausoleum is a cenotaph. Located in Beiqiao Mountain, huangling county City, Shaanxi Province; 1962, the State Council was announced as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in China, and it is known as the No.1 ancient tomb and the No.1 mausoleum in the world. Huangdi Mausoleum, called "Qiaoling" in ancient times, is the place where emperors and celebrities in China offered sacrifices to Huangdi. According to records, the earliest sacrifice to the Yellow Emperor began in 442 BC.
Since the temple was built in the fifth year of the Tang Dynasty (770), national festivals have been held in all dynasties. Since the establishment of political power in China, Tomb-Sweeping Day and Chung Yeung Festival have been held here every year. Tomb-Sweeping Day, in particular, has become a traditional festival of sacrifice for the Chinese nation. Since 2004, the annual Huangdi Mausoleum sacrifice has been promoted to a national public sacrifice. The mausoleum area has undergone many renovations, and the latest renovation started from 1993, so the Huangdi Mausoleum Foundation was established to raise funds. The project was implemented in two phases, with the first phase completed in August 20001year.
