Can open-end funds be listed and traded?
Most open-end funds cannot be listed and traded, but there are two types of open-end funds that can be listed and traded, namely, transactional open-end funds ETF and listed open-end funds LOF:
1 ETF: ETF funds are usually stock market funds, and a package of stocks is needed to purchase and redeem ETF funds. Continuous subscription and redemption require fund managers to publish their net worth and portfolio more frequently, so the discount/premium phenomenon between market value and net worth can be avoided to a great extent.
2 LOF: LOF is an open-end fund, which can purchase or redeem fund shares in the OTC market at the same time, and organically link the OTC market with the OTC market through the share transfer custody mechanism. On the basis of keeping the current open-end fund operation mode unchanged, the Fund will increase the issuance and trading channels of the exchange, which can reduce the transaction cost and speed up the transaction.
The above is about the sharing content of the fund, and I hope it will help everyone.
