By the end of 22, 219 overseas students sent by Bao Scholarship had returned to China. After returning to China, they played a key role in different posts and made remarkable achievements. Many of them have become new academic leaders and won many national, provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards. Many people have been promoted to professors and doctoral supervisors, and some have held certain leadership positions. Among them, Pan Yunhe of Zhejiang University, one of the first overseas personnel selected by the Bausch Foundation in 1986, is now an academician of China Academy of Engineering, alternate member of the Central Committee, president of Zhejiang University and chairman of the Bausch Foundation. Yu Hai, vice president of Zhejiang Medical University, and Huang Zuhui, vice president of Zhejiang Agricultural University before the merger of the four universities of Zhejiang University, Xiao Ruifeng, vice president of Zhejiang University of Technology, Wang Junhao, vice president of Zhejiang Institute of Finance and Economics, Dai Wenzhan, vice president of Zhejiang Engineering College, and Peng Qunsheng and Ye Zhizhen, winners of the Golden Bull Award of national key laboratories, are all outstanding returnees of the Bausch Scholarship.
