Can you explain it in detail?
"t+7" means that the payment will be received after 7 working days, calculated from the payment date.
Among them, day t is the day of transaction.
For example, in an agreement signed between a merchant and WeChat Pay, the payment is generally not credited to the merchant's account in a timely manner. Instead, according to the contract agreement, there are different settlement cycles such as T+1 and T+2. After the settlement cycle arrives, the payment will be transferred to the merchant's account.
The entire amount within the cycle is transferred to the merchant's account, and the corresponding handling fee is deducted.
In funds, this expression mostly refers to the time for redemption of funds.
According to different investment objects, funds can be divided into currency funds, bond funds, hybrid funds, stock funds, etc.
Different fund types will have different redemption times: currency funds: T+1 days; bond funds: T+1 to T+3 days; hybrid funds: T+1 to T+3 days; stock funds: T+3
to T+5 days; QDII fund: account arrives from T+7 to T+10 days.
Saturdays, Sundays, or statutory holidays are not working days. If day T is Friday, T+1 is next Monday.
As for why this time is required, take stock funds as an example. If an investor goes to the bank to apply for redemption of the fund before 3 pm on a certain day (assuming it is day t), the bank will process the application before the fund company closes.
Submit it to the fund company, let it calculate the market value of the stock on that day, and then calculate the net value of each share of the fund based on the shares of the entire fund after all subscription and redemption shares are offset.
After the data is calculated, the relevant data will be sent to the China Depository and Clearing Corporation, which manages stock registration and transfer, and the custodian bank for review the next day. Only after these two institutions review and confirm that there are no errors, will the confirmation be sent back to the fund management company.
Then the fund company will not be able to transfer the funds in the securities account to the custodian bank until the third day. After the custodian bank receives and confirms it, it will transfer the funds to the investor's account opening bank for buying and selling funds on the evening of the same day or the next day.
The bank will finally transfer the funds to the investor's account on the same day or the next day.
Generally speaking, t+7 means that after seven working days, whether it is settlement or fund redemption, some approval steps are required in the middle, so you will need to wait for some days. Of course, waiting in different situations
The time is different. The fastest one is that it can be received on the same day as t+0.
