What does it mean to have multiple securities accounts?
One person with multiple securities accounts means that both natural persons and institutional investors can open multiple A-share accounts and closed-end fund accounts according to actual needs.

China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Clearing) recently issued and implemented the Notice on Fully Liberalizing the One-Person-One-Account Restriction for Natural Person Investors, and clearly released the A-share market from today.

Since then, both natural persons and institutional investors can open multiple A-share accounts and closed-end fund accounts according to actual needs. Last Sunday (April 12) was a sleepless night for many brokers. Although it is expected, the liberalization of "one person with multiple households" has caused great waves in the brokerage industry. If the appearance of "commission treasure" last year marked the full-scale commission war, then the liberalization of "one person and many households" officially declared the collapse of the original commission system of brokers, and even heralded the transformation of their business model. Yesterday was the first trading day after the liberalization of "one person and many households", and a battle for customers has been staged.

One person with multiple households means that the A-share market has been fully liberalized since April13,2065438. Both natural persons and institutional investors can open multiple A-share accounts and closed-end fund accounts in Shenzhen and Shanghai according to actual needs. On April 2, 20 15, China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. decided to cancel the restriction of one person and one household for natural person investors to open A-share accounts from April 20 15, allowing natural person investors to open up to 20 Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share accounts and closed-end fund accounts on the site according to actual needs.

Precautions for opening an account:

One person has multiple households, and some bank cards do not support multiple securities companies, so you need to change a bank card.

GEM opening: If the investor has opened the GEM in the previous securities company, he can also support the authority of the GEM when opening an account in another securities company. If it is the first time for an investor to open a securities account, generally speaking, it will take two years to open the GEM authority, but if the investor strongly requests to open it, it can also be handled at the counter.

Margin account opening: margin companies require that they must open an account for 6 months and have assets of more than 500,000 before they can apply for an account opening. You need to go through the counter.

Both natural persons and institutional investors can open multiple A-share accounts and closed-end fund accounts according to actual needs, with a maximum of 20 accounts. After the implementation of the policy of multiple securities accounts for one person, both institutions and individuals can open up to 20 accounts.
