RMB basket refers to the basket currency in which RMB enters the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) of the International Monetary Fund. Since then, the RMB has taken a landmark step on the road of internationalization, becoming the fifth member after the US dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen and the British pound. This is the first time that SDR has been included in the currencies of developing countries. The entry of RMB reflects the progress made in the reform of China's monetary, foreign exchange and financial systems, and acknowledges China's achievements in opening up and improving the financial market infrastructure.
