I was so excited and grateful when I learned that I was lucky enough to get a state grant. My first thought at that time was that I could lighten the burden for my family. After the evening study, I can't wait to call my family and tell them the good news. They are also very happy after listening. That night, I was so excited that I thought a lot.

It is often said that no pains, no gains. There is no such thing as getting something for nothing, but there are beggars begging everywhere. Get what they want. But they must sell their dignity. So I think that although I got a national scholarship, it is not free. I think this is an investment by the state and schools. Have expectations for our country and school. Actually, it makes me feel like I'm dreaming. This is not true, but I have good expectations.

First of all, I want to thank the country for creating an era of going to college for us, for its care and for its support in helping my family tide over the difficulties. In this way, I can study hard and happily in college. I used to be selfish. I am eager to get into a good university, find a good job, get a high salary, get rid of poverty, and let my parents no longer suffer and worry. So that they can live happily in the future. Because my parents have never left me since I was a child, I have deep feelings with my parents. Because of this, I can see them working every day. They come back late every day, sweating and exhausted, which makes me feel distressed. So I made up my mind to study hard, so I never cared about national affairs. But now I don't think so anymore. I shouldn't be so selfish. We in China are very grateful. It has always been a traditional virtue of China, and it has taken root in the hearts of the bright red people. As a college student, how can you not carry forward?

Here I want to thank the school, I want to thank the leaders of the school, and thank you for fighting for opportunities for us and running around for us so that we can have this opportunity. Fourth, we should actively communicate with others. We are a part of society and will step into the real society in the future. School is a small society, and we must learn how to get along with others, so that we can stand in the real society. We will encounter many difficulties in life, so we need help from others. Sometimes when family members are not around, we have to find friends. We should unite with our classmates, love them and respect our teachers.

Fifth, we should improve our own quality, including scientific and cultural quality, ideological and moral quality and so on. At least we shouldn't do things that endanger the country and schools. At the same time, we must fight against behaviors that endanger the interests of the state and schools.
