I always show my deep respect to those who lived in the last century. They live in such a war-torn era, but it is difficult for people to choose to bear these setbacks. I also deeply respect the soldiers who defend their homeland. They are willing to give up their fresh lives and work hard for national liberation and national independence.

1942 to 1944 the Chinese expeditionary force, also known as China's expeditionary force to Myanmar, was sent by China to Myanmar to fight the Japanese in order to protect the border security of China and Yunnan during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period.

It was 1895 that China went abroad to fight for the first time since the Sino-Japanese War. At that time, when the Pacific War broke out, the Japanese army was in full swing, and armed assault was carried out all over Southeast Asia. In order to make China between Scylla and Charybdis, it immediately pointed its finger at Myanmar, China's neighbor. In order to stop some armed aid from other countries to China, they want to cut off the international highway between Yunnan and Myanmar.

In order to smash these plots, China immediately sent troops to fight in Myanmar. In recent years, China has sent 300,000 troops to fight in Myanmar. We hope these heroes can return to their hometown. The war failed to meet our wishes. Among the 300,000 PLA men, 65,438+10,000 heroes stayed in foreign countries. We will remember this group of heroes who protect the country's Wan Li rivers and mountains, and shoulder the responsibility of guarding this prosperous time for them.

1944, in order to recover Tengchong, the Chinese Expeditionary Force entered Myanmar, and 60,000 heroes braved bullets to cross the Nujiang River regardless of life and death, launching a deadly attack on the Japanese army in Tengchong. Due to Japan's excellent equipment and favorable terrain, the Tengchong recovery war lasted for 42 days, and both sides suffered heavy losses. In this city that has experienced the baptism of war and ushered in a bright tomorrow, there is no vitality and passion, and broken walls is everywhere.

The city is full of blood, and its independence was achieved by 9000 people giving their lives for the expeditionary force. In memory of these people, we built Tengchong National Memorial Park. However, due to the fierce fighting situation at that time, not every body of the expeditionary force that had an accident was buried in this mausoleum, enjoying the respect of the Chinese people, in order to let these heroes return home and rest in peace.

Many volunteers have been looking for their bodies. When searching for their bodies in Taiping town, Yunnan province, we found a scene that made people cry. We found the remains of many transport troops, but they were just hastily buried in gasoline tanks in the 1940s.

However, as heroes, they should have enjoyed the greatest sadness and glory. Moreover, after experts' inspection, these remains not only have many bullets, but also judge from the teeth and bones of these remains that the age of these expedition heroes in gasoline tanks is actually between 18-22 years old, which should be the most wanton and frivolous age.
