It is necessary to vigorously carry out publicity activities for ecological civilization waterways. Make use of internal and external media to vigorously publicize the ecological advantages of the Yangtze River Waterway, the decision-making arrangements, experience and work achievements of our bureau in building an ecological civilization waterway, and the advanced models that love and protect the ecology that have emerged in the Yangtze River Waterway, and continuously promote and display the good image of the Yangtze River Ecological Civilization Waterway to the society. (2) Optimizing waterway construction planning

We should consider both the needs of economic development along the Yangtze River and the ecological bearing capacity of the Yangtze River waterway, scientifically determine the exploitable degree of the waterway and the optimal construction standards of the waterways in various reaches, and accordingly adjust the implementation of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and formulate the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan.
