Brief introduction of Zhou Lingfei
Zhou Lingfei, the eldest grandson of Lu Xun and the eldest son of Zhou Haiying, was born in Beijing in 1953. He graduated from Beijing Jingshan School in 1969 and joined the army at the age of 16. He later worked as a photojournalist for the People's Liberation Army Pictorial Agency and changed careers. Later he worked at People's Fine Arts Publishing House. He went abroad for further study in 1980 and returned to mainland China to work in 1999.
He is currently the president and secretary-general of the Lu Xun Cultural Foundation, chairman of the Shanghai Lu Xun Cultural Development Center, dean of the Lu Xun and World Culture Research Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University, and visiting professor of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.
Other appointments: Chairman of the Lu Xun Youth Literature Award Organizing Committee, Vice President of the International Lu Xun Research Society, Director of the Lu Xun Research Center of Tongji University; Beijing Lu Xun Middle School, Shanghai Lu Xun Middle School, Hainan Lu Xun Middle School, Beijing Honorary principals of No. 35 Middle School and Shaoxing Lu Xun Primary School, etc.
He has served as a photojournalist, art editor, film and television program planning director, and international large-scale cultural event producer.
