CMB's fund history
As a part of Rockefeller Foundation, Chinese Medical Association (CMB) was established in 19 14, and separated from Rockefeller Foundation in 1928, becoming an independent foundation. At the beginning of the establishment of China-Pakistan, Peking Union Medical College was established and provided with operating funds. 1950 When the Korean War broke out, China and Pakistan withdrew from China and instead funded medical education in other Asian countries and regions, such as Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan Province Province. CMB accepted the invitation to return to China on 1980, and provided financial support to 13 medical universities in China in the fields of medical education and health, as well as to Asian countries such as Mongolia, Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.
