1986,101On October 27th, the State Planning Group of Philosophy and Social Sciences passed the Provisional Regulations on the National Social Science Fund. The National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences is the office of the National Leading Group for Philosophy and Social Sciences.

Since the establishment of the National Social Science Fund, with the great attention of the CPC Central Committee and the strong support of relevant parties, the total amount of the fund has been increasing, the coverage and influence have been expanding, the disciplines and project settings have been expanding, the project management system has been improving day by day, a large number of in-depth and weighty research results have been launched, and a large number of academic leaders with solid foundations have been trained. The guidance, authority and demonstration role of the national social science fund projects are becoming more and more obvious.
