A large number of books such as "New Notes", "Research on the Compendium of Materia Medica in Southern Yunnan", "Annotations on the Secret Recipes of Twelve Generations of Medical Doctors of the Guan Family", and "The Commentary and Biography of Lan Mao" were also published one after another.

These articles and books discuss and research Lan Mao's pharmacology, phonology, poetry, and ideological and character aspects.

In Lan Mao's hometown of Songming, "Lan Studies" has long been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and various academic activities are often carried out.

On September 14, 1995, the Lan Mao Literary Society was officially established and established the "Lan Mao Literary Fund" to use the spirit of Lan Mao to inspire and inspire those who have made achievements in literature.

From August 12 to 13, 1997, an academic seminar commemorating the 600th anniversary of Lan Mao's birth was held at Songming Hotel.
