Responsibilities of the Social Medical Insurance Center: 1. Organize and implement national, provincial and municipal laws and regulations on employee medical insurance, resident medical insurance, and maternity insurance, and formulate, revise, and improve city-wide medical and maternity insurance policies, regulations, and work plans.
2. Determine designated medical institutions and designated retail pharmacies for employees covered by municipal employee medical insurance and resident medical insurance, enter into service agreements with them and supervise their implementation.
3. Prepare pre-decision reports on the city’s employee medical insurance, resident medical insurance, and maternity insurance funds.
4. Conduct employee medical insurance, resident medical insurance, maternity insurance registration, and payment base verification.
5. Collect and use medical and maternity insurance funds in accordance with regulations.
6. Responsible for the implementation of the medical insurance business for retired personnel in our city and revolutionary disabled servicemen of Class B and above.
7. Implement the rules for auditing medical and maternity insurance funds, and establish and improve a working system to prevent underreporting and underpayment of medical and maternity insurance premiums, as well as false reporting and false claims of medical and maternity insurance premiums.
8. Under the unified management of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, participate in medical insurance publicity activities; guide the relevant business work of township and office medical insurance agencies.
9. Complete other tasks assigned by the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
