Incentive and reward measures for open management of teaching laboratories in Southwest University
1. Open experiments should be included in students' experimental teaching, and students should be encouraged to participate in laboratory open activities in their spare time. Students who pass the open experiment examination can get credits, which can be used as credits for practical courses. The credits obtained by participating in open experiments across colleges can also replace the credits of public elective courses. Generally, 20 class hours is equivalent to 1 credit, with a cumulative score of no more than 3 points.

2. Encourage and support experimental technicians and teachers to actively carry out open experiments. Experimental technicians and teachers are required to have open experimental projects for students to choose from every year, which is one of the important basis for assessment (evaluation).

3. The school set up special funds for laboratory opening, which are used to subsidize the consumption of materials required for students to participate in open experiments (subject to the approval of experts) and the experimental allowance of instructors (including auxiliary personnel), and no other fees are charged. According to the application of open projects, each college will verify the workload of the next semester at the end of each semester and report it to the Academic Affairs Office for examination and approval. The Academic Affairs Office will calculate the workload of open laboratories from relevant colleges according to the measures for the management of teaching volume of public courses.

4. Encourage and support open experiments to produce innovative results. Projects that have achieved results through students' open experiments can declare various awards and participate in competitions.

5 experimental teaching demonstration centers at all levels should take the lead in carrying out various forms of open experiments and actively promote the full opening of laboratories.
