Candidates are eligible to be registered as fund practitioners if they pass the examination of subject 1 and subject 2, or pass the examination of subject 1 and subject 3. The association will increase or adjust relevant examination subjects as appropriate according to the needs of industry and market development.

In order to effectively fulfill the responsibilities entrusted by the new Fund Law, the Fund Industry Association actively promoted the preparations for various examinations, started the registration of qualification examinations for fund practitioners in July 201May, and organized the examinations in August.
Fund sales is one of the main business links of fund management, and its standardized operation is an important guarantee for expanding the scale of funds and protecting the interests of investors. With the rapid development of China's securities investment fund industry, the fund sales channels have been continuously expanded and deepened, and the number of people engaged in fund sales business has increased rapidly. Fund sales personnel directly contact investors and provide fund sales services. The improvement of their professional level and quality is related to the improvement of the overall service level of China's fund industry and the sustained and healthy development of the fund industry.
According to "People's Republic of China (PRC) Securities Investment Fund Law" and "Measures for the Administration of Securities Investment Fund Sales", personnel engaged in fund publicity, sales promotion, consulting and other businesses should first take the fund sales staff examination and obtain the qualification.
The fund review results are valid for four years; Those who pass the securities qualification examination "Basic Knowledge of Securities Market" and "Securities Investment Fund" organized by the association are deemed to have passed the subject examination of "Fund Qualification Examination". Candidates can choose reference subjects according to their needs.
In order to further improve the knowledge framework system of fund qualification examination, China Asset Management Association has revised Subject I "Examination Outline of Fund Laws and Regulations, Professional Ethics and Business Norms", Subject II "Examination Outline of Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds" and Subject III "Examination Outline of Basic Knowledge of Equity Investment Funds (including Venture Capital Funds)" (see official website of Fund Industry Association for details), which are hereby promulgated.
