The Legend of Shan Hai Jing Red Shadow is a costume fantasy drama produced by Phoenix Legend Film Co., Ltd., Beijing Cultural and Creative Industry Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. and jointly produced by Beijing Film Academy. Directed by Zhu Ruibin, the film stars Zhang Hanyu, Gulnazar, Kenny Kwan W. Jr. Jr., Leo, Lickli, Li Chao, Tang Yong, Wang Ge, Gao Junxian, Li Mao, Andrew and Tian Yupeng.

Based on the pre-Qin classic Shan Hai Jing, the play tells the story of different forces descending from the sky in search of Xuan Nv and summoning different stars and beasts.

The play started on 20 14, 10 in Hengdian, Zhejiang Province, and started on 20 16 in Diamond solo theater of Hunan Satellite TV on March 20th.
