If the insured wants to use medical insurance for reimbursement, he/she needs to bring his/her ID card, social security card or medical insurance card, hospitalization medical records, hospitalization payment documents and other materials to the social security agency, medical institution or pharmaceutical business unit to apply for reimbursement, and the above-mentioned institutions will settle accounts for the insured according to the scope and proportion of reimbursement.

article 26 of the social insurance law of the people's Republic of China, the treatment standards of basic medical insurance for employees, new rural cooperative medical care and basic medical insurance for urban residents shall be implemented in accordance with state regulations.

article 28 of the social insurance law of the people's Republic of China conforms to the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, standards of medical service facilities, and medical expenses for emergency treatment and rescue, and shall be paid from the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.

article 29 of the social insurance law of the people's Republic of China, the part of the medical expenses of the insured that should be paid by the basic medical insurance fund shall be directly settled by the social insurance agency, the medical institution and the pharmaceutical business unit. The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places, so as to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
