Professor Zhang has devoted himself to the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric neurosurgery, brain tumor and hydrocephalus for many years, and is good at craniopharyngioma, sellar region tumor, third room tumor, thalamus tumor, skull base tumor, brain stem tumor and cerebrovascular disease. Especially in the research of craniopharyngioma in children, the number of operations is the highest in the world, which makes the surgical treatment of craniopharyngioma in children in China reach the international advanced level.
Professor Zhang participated in the compilation of more than 20 monographs, such as China's classic neurosurgery, Neurosurgery in Wang Zhongcheng, and the compilation of eight-year and five-year surgical textbooks of the Ministry of Education. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of Anatomy and Clinic of Neurosurgical Approach and Neurotumor in Children. Published more than 70 papers/kloc-0. He won five national and municipal science and technology awards, including the China Physician Award of Chinese Medical Association, the Young and Middle-aged Surgery Award of Chinese Medical Association, the China Physician Award of American Secler Foundation, and the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, and the international award 1.
