The Hong Kong Council for the Promotion of Culture was established in March 2006 at 5438+0. The purpose of this association is purely non-profit, which will contribute to the development of Hong Kong and the Mainland, and make Hong Kong culture healthier and more prosperous in the years to come. The long-term goal of this association is to promote academic civilization and promote a gratifying new situation of SAR culture under one country, two systems.

Our members include leaders of major organizations, presidents of universities in Hong Kong, professors, cultural authorities and elites from all walks of life.

Since its establishment, the association has held more than 20 large-scale activities, which have received warm response and favorable comments, and have a relatively solid foundation. Under the care of many literary masters such as Cha and Tsung i Jao, and under the leadership of President Zhuang Shiping, the Association has received enthusiastic response from cultural elites from all walks of life in Hong Kong, and has received full support from major groups and social elites in Hong Kong.

Last year, I achieved great success in promoting cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and the Mainland, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911, commemorating Lu Xun's birthday120th anniversary, remembering Zhang Xueliang and publicizing the Basic Law, and won the "Cultural Contribution Award" awarded by Beijing.
