Northwest University was founded in 1902 Shaanxi University Hall and Shi Jing University Hall by Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty. 19 12 is called Northwest University. 1923 changed to National Northwest University. 1937, the National xi 'an Temporary University was formed by the National Peiping University, Beiping Normal University, Beiyang Institute of Technology and National Peiping Research Institute, which moved westward to Shaanxi. 1938 was changed to National Northwest United University, and 1939 was changed to National Northwest University.
