Yuzhou Medical Insurance Center (formerly known as Yuzhou Workers' Social Medical Insurance Fund Management Center) was established in April of 1997, and it is a fully funded institution at the official department level. Mainly responsible for the collection, management and payment of the basic medical insurance for urban workers, industrial injury insurance, maternity insurance for female workers and basic medical insurance funds for urban residents in the city.
