This is the storm cabin. As the name implies, there is no way to stop the storm. Large ships, usually ships with more than five cabins and a length of more than 190 meters, all have storm cabins, mainly in stormy weather, to increase the draught by pressing water into the storm cabin to prevent the ship from heaving and pitching violently. Usually, the storm cabin is in the middle cabin, but ships with more than 9 cabins have two storm cabins.
