It is reported that bank custody fund refers to the intermediary business in which banks are engaged in custody of custody assets, handle fund settlement in the name of custody assets, conduct accounting and valuation of custody assets, supervise the investment operation of managers, protect the interests of asset customers, and collect custody fees according to laws, regulations and custody contracts.
Although bank custody funds look like bank deposit business, they cannot be used for lending, which is not allowed. At present, there are many kinds of bank custody business, including securities investment fund custody, entrusted asset custody and social security fund custody.
