The method of using the money in the medical insurance account as a whole is as follows:

1. In the medical institution, hold the medical insurance electronic certificate or social security card for medical settlement.

2. The accumulated funds in the personal account of medical insurance in previous years can be used to pay the expenses first, and the insufficient part needs to be paid by the individual.

3. If the expenses exceed the deductible, the Medical Insurance Co-ordination Foundation will provide a certain proportion of reimbursement, and the rest can be paid by using the accumulated funds in previous years in the medical insurance personal account.
