In 22, Professor Tang Yijie put forward the proposal of compiling Confucianism, which was warmly encouraged by Mr. Zhang Dainian and Mr. Ji Xianlin.

In 23, Peking University established a leading group for the compilation of Confucianism and Zang headed by President Xu Zhihong and a working group for the compilation of Confucianism and Zang headed by Vice President Wu Zhipan and Professor Tang Yijie. As a major academic and cultural project in China, this project was included in the major research project of philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education in 23 and the major project of the National Social Science Fund in 24.

The General Catalogue of Confucianism and the History of Confucianism in China are planned to be completed in 26, the essence of Confucianism and Tibetan is planned to be completed in 21, and the project of Confucianism and Tibetan is planned to be completed in 22.

At present, the project of Confucianism and Tibetan Studies has achieved initial results. As a sample book of Confucianism and Zang, there are five notes on the ancient Analects of Confucius and one collection of unearthed documents which have been rearranged, which will be produced by Peking University Press in August.
