Located in Zhanjiang City and Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, it is a provincial comprehensive undergraduate college with medicine as its main feature, covering seven disciplines, including medicine, science, management, law, engineering, literature and economics. Guangdong Medical University, formerly known as Zhongshan Medical College Zhanjiang Branch, was founded in 1958.
