The background of the establishment of Han Hong Charity Foundation.

On May 12, 2008, a devastating earthquake struck Wenchuan. In response to the call of the Party and the state, Han Hong immediately went to the disaster area to offer condolences and rescue. In the earthquake-stricken area, Han Hong witnessed the cruelty of natural disasters and felt the warmth of support from all sides.

In order to participate in the rescue more permanently and effectively, Han Hong organized and established "Han Hong Love Action" to provide relief materials such as medicines, food and daily necessities to the people in the disaster areas. Subsequently, "Han Hong Love Action" joined the team of post-disaster reconstruction and went to the disaster area five times to express condolences to the masses and build schools. In order to help the students in the disaster area rebuild their confidence, Han Hong was hired as honorary principal of Longju Central Primary School in shifang city.

10 April Yushu earthquake in Qinghai, 20 10 August 7 Zhouqu earthquake in Gansu, and March10 Yingjiang earthquake in Yunnan responded immediately after each disaster, and donated money and materials for earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction.

At this time, the mission of "helping the needy and providing disaster relief" has been unconsciously integrated into "Han Hong Love Action", which has become the foundation of its existence.
