In order to further improve the basic medical insurance system for urban workers, the Fuzhou Municipal Government recently issued the Notice on the Implementation Opinions on Municipal Overall Planning of the Basic Medical Insurance for Urban Workers in Fuzhou, stipulating that the basic medical insurance for urban workers in our city will be implemented at the municipal level from July 1 day.

According to the Opinions, since July 1 year, the basic medical insurance for urban employees in our city has implemented a system of unified coverage, unified payment standard, unified treatment level, unified handling process, unified fund management and unified information system. Counties (cities) and Mawei District will no longer adjust or introduce new medical insurance policies by themselves.
