Chen Kun Chen Kun, born in Chongqing on February 4, 1976, is an actor and singer in Mainland China.

In 1995, he was admitted to the Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble as a solo singer. In 1996, he was admitted to the undergraduate class of the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy with the first place in his major [1-2].

In 1999, he starred in the movie "National Anthem" and entered the film industry; in 2000, he starred in the TV series "Like Fog, Like Rain and Like Wind"[3].

In 2003, he starred in CCTV's annual TV series "Golden Pink Family" [4].

In 2007, he starred in the movie "The Ballad of Clouds and Waters" and won the China Film Huabiao Award for Outstanding Actor for his role as Chen Qiushui. In 2010, he won the Best Actor Award at the 30th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Awards for the movie "Painted Skin". In 2011, he starred in Xu

In 2004, he released his first solo album "Penetration". By 2013, he had released three solo albums and held two solo concerts[8-9].

In 2012, he appeared on CCTV's Year of the Dragon Spring Festival Gala and sang the solo song "Long Time No Home"[10].

Served as the China Ambassador of UNICEF and donated to non-governmental charity projects such as Great Love Cleaning Up Dust, Care for Veterans, and Critical Illness Medical Insurance.

In 2011[11] he launched the spiritual charity project "The Power of Walking" and received the "Edelweiss" Medal from the Austrian Embassy in November 2013[12].
