Sichuan Commercial Investment Group Co., Ltd. is a provincial state-owned large-scale backbone enterprise approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. It is the only provincial-level investment platform and modern supply chain guarantee platform for modern business circulation service industry in China, and undertakes the corporate mission of "protecting people's livelihood, promoting consumption, leading the opening up and serving the industry".

The group was formerly known as Sichuan Commercial Group,1June, 1996, which was established by the institutional reform of the Department of Commerce. After three reforms and two rounds of restructuring, it was integrated with five provincial state-owned enterprises, namely, the provincial grain and oil group, the provincial material group, the provincial logistics industry joint-stock company, the provincial foreign trade group and the provincial Changjiang Group, to form the Sichuan Commercial Investment Group. It has 1 1 secondary units and1more than 50 holding subsidiaries.

The Group has been deeply involved in the field of modern commerce and trade circulation for many years, and has the most comprehensive category of people's livelihood services among enterprises in Sichuan Province. It has a strong "four-in-one" modern supply chain integration service capability, undertakes functional businesses such as people's livelihood supply and reserve, and develops two livelihood industries, namely food and beverage, medicine and health, with the support of digital economy development, rural revitalization and integration of the three industries.

On September 28th, 2020, the list of top 500 enterprises in China service industry in 2020 was announced in Zhengzhou, and Sichuan Commercial Investment Group Co., Ltd. ranked 169.
