How to collect the deposit for government-sponsored students studying abroad: 1. Before the state-sponsored students return to China, the Education (Cultural) Section (Group) of the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad shall issue a "Certificate for Returned Overseas Students" (produced by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education).

2. Specific operations: 1. Overseas students can choose any of the following methods to withdraw the deposit: (1) Transfer: the account name, account number and bank where the account is opened should be clearly written.
The bank where the account is opened should be specific to a certain branch in a certain city.
(2) Postal remittance: Please write down the detailed address (including postal code) and the name of the payee.
(3) Face-to-face withdrawal: You can personally or entrust others to withdraw the deposit from the bank designated by the Fund Committee with your ID card.
If you entrust another person to withdraw the deposit, the trustee should issue a power of attorney.
3. 15 days after the overseas students have sent the "Deposit Withdrawal Certificate Form" and related materials, they can log on to the website of the China Scholarship Council and click on the "Return to the Country and Withdraw the Security Deposit" column on the homepage to check the deposit processing status.
If the query result shows "Processed": If you choose "Transfer" or "Postal Remittance" to withdraw, you can usually go to the bank to check whether the deposit has arrived (transferred) or receive the deposit after 5-7 working days.
Remittance order (postal remittance); if you choose "face pick-up", you can go to the designated bank to go through the deposit withdrawal procedures.
4. If a student who has paid a deposit cancels his plan to study abroad for any reason, the competent department in charge of studying abroad of the domestic selection unit will sign and seal the opinion in the "Audit Opinion Column of the Domestic Selection Unit for Overseas Students" on the "Deposit Withdrawal Certificate Form", and then enter the corresponding column in the
