Smart and Remote Connected Health Project -SCH: Smart and Connected Health (SCH) Program

The goal of Smart and Connected Health (SCH) program is to accelerate the development and use of innovative methods and support the transformation of medical care from reactive and hospital-centered to preventive, forward-looking, evidence-based, people-oriented and concerned with the urgent needs of well-being rather than disease. The method of combining technology-based solutions with biological behavior health research has been supported by many federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The purpose of this plan is to develop the next generation of health care solutions and encourage existing and new research groups to focus on breaking through ideas in various fields that are valuable to health, such as sensor technology, network, information and machine learning technology, decision support systems, behavioral and cognitive process modeling, and system and process modeling. Effective solutions must meet a large number of constraints caused by clinical/medical needs, social interaction, cognitive limitations, behavioral change obstacles, data heterogeneity, semantic mismatch and the limitations of the current network physical system. This solution requires multidisciplinary teams to be ready to solve technical, behavioral and clinical problems from basic science to clinical practice.

National science foundation

"Natural Science Fund" generally refers to the fund projects established by various countries to encourage the innovation and development of natural science. Famous ones are National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science Foundation of the United States, Irish Science Foundation, Czech Science Foundation, European Science Foundation, etc. In China, it generally refers to the National Natural Science Foundation. 1986 The National Natural Science Foundation Committee, established in early 1986, is responsible for organizing, implementing and managing the projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and subsidizing basic research and applied research for the whole country according to the principles, policies and plans of national science and technology development and the direction of science and technology development. The funds mainly come from the national financial allocation.
