According to the purchasing demand and purchasing plan, the purchasing department needs to confirm the source of goods by purchasing, entrusting and leasing. There are four common ways to buy:

seek procurement tenders

Competitive bidding is conducted by different suppliers through open bidding or invitation bidding. The system will record every bid in the form of inquiry, and record the quotation and winning result of each supplier.

One-time purchase

For sporadic purchases with little value, you can adopt a one-time purchase method, directly select suppliers and negotiate prices, and turn the purchase application into a purchase order.

Single source procurement

If there is a single supplier for some materials and services (such as non-standard parts of professional equipment), the information record procurement method can be adopted, and the procurement system directly reads the supplier and price information from the information record to convert the purchase application into a purchase order.

Multi-source/business negotiation

In the case of multi-source procurement without bidding, you can maintain the supply list or read the existing supply list of the system, select the appropriate supplier and its price, and issue a purchase order.

Long-term agreement procurement

In addition to the above four methods, there are also long-term agreement procurement methods. In order to obtain more favorable supply conditions or lower prices, the purchasing department of the Group has signed a long-term agreement with suppliers, and the subordinate purchasing institutions can make use of the preferential conditions of the framework agreement to make purchases. One of the characteristics of this procurement method is that the price and conditions offered by the same supplier to molecular companies in different regions may be different. If the supplier is a global group company, the situation will be more complicated.
