Before going abroad, you must sign the Agreement on Aid for Studying Abroad, which will take effect after notarization by the notary office. The notarization period is usually 7- 10 working days.
Precautions:
1. It is suggested to choose the notary office where the overseas students or guarantors have their domicile or habitual residence to bid.
2. The conditions of the guarantor must meet the relevant requirements of the Agreement on Aid for Studying Abroad and the Notes for Overseas Students.
3. Please refer to the Notes for International Students for the amount and method of guarantee.
International students must go to a notary office with two guarantors for notarization.
5. The Agreement on Aid for Studying Abroad must be filled in accurately and completely, leaving no blank. The signature of the last page must be completed by the international student himself and the guarantor in front of a notary.
6. Please inform the notary office that the notarized matter should be the Agreement on Aid for Studying Abroad (not just the notarization of "signature and seal"), and the format of the notarized document should be the notarization of the elements of the contract (agreement).
7. If the notary requests the National Scholarship Fund Committee to provide the letter of commitment and application form, it can be downloaded from the National Scholarship Network.
8. Please consult the local notary office for the materials required for notarization.
