Operated and managed by Sichuan Wolong National Nature Reserve Administration, it is a large nature reserve with the most complex natural conditions and the largest number of rare animals and plants in Sichuan Province, and it is also the third largest nature reserve in China, mainly protecting the natural ecosystem and giant pandas in the southwest alpine forest region.

2. Fengtongzhai Nature Reserve

Sichuan Fengtongzhai National Nature Reserve is located in the northeast of Baoxing County, Sichuan Province, on the western slope of Qionglai Mountain. Established in 1975. It covers an area of 39,039 hectares. The main protection targets are rare and endangered animals such as giant pandas and golden monkeys and mixed forest ecosystems in mountainous areas.
